About the Chapter

Healthcare Leaders Association of Texas was founded in 1973 as a statewide premier association for professional administrators and leaders of medical group practices.
The Gulf Coast chapter of HLA Texas began as of January 1, 2024. This chapters serves as a vital extension in advancing the mission of the statewide organization by fostering strong, connected community of healthcare leaders in the Gulf Coast regional area. Our chapter is one of two local chapters for HLA of Texas. As a local chapter, we are dedicated to bringing together administrators and professionals from diverse healthcare settings to collaborate, share knowledge, and support one another in the pursuit of excellence in medical group management.
Our chapter serves as dynamic hub for professional development, offering members access to educational workshops, networking events, and leadership opportunities designed to address evolving challenges of healthcare delivery at the local level. We are committed to equipping our members with tools, resources, and peer connections that empower them to lead with confidence, innovate within their organizations, and improve care outcomes in their communities.

Local Chapter Mission Statement
The mission of the Gulf Coast chapter of the Healthcare Leaders Association of Texas is to support and strengthen healthcare leadership in our local community by:
